Does God really care about sports? This question has been debated for generations now, and even though we will never know God's "thoughts", we do know what His Word tells us. In this episode, Josh Vaughan, former NFL running back for a number of teams including the Carolina Panthers, San Fransisco 49ers, and Atlanta Falcons, comes on to discuss this question. Josh experienced many challenges and trials throughout his career as an athlete, and as he explains in the episode, he owes it all to God for giving him each opportunity. As he is now the team chaplain for the Atlanta Falcons, he gives great insight into what it means to identify with Christ not only in sports, but in the professional setting. Josh and Ken also discuss how we as Christians can view sports, if God even cares who wins and who loses, and what his time in the NFL and in college taught him about being a Christian athlete.
